Partially Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide(PHPA)
CAS NO. : 9003-05-8 WELLDONE PHPA series are co-polymer of anionic character and different molecular weight water-soluble polymers, which are primarily used as a highly efficient fluid loss reducer, viscosifier and protective colloid for shale's and cutting in fresh water, calcium, sodium brines and KCL mud systems. It is compatible with most of the drilling fluid products, biopolymers, PAC, CMC. It maintains borehole stability by preventing shale swelling and erosion.At the same time, it has the function of improving the flow type of drilling fluid. It can well inhibit the bottom layer pulping in the drilling fluid and avoid the collapse of the well wall. It is suitable for mud systems.

PHPA Advantages:
It functions as an inhibitor by coating or encapsulating formation & cuttings.
It also restricts the interaction of water hydratable & dispersible shale's.
It can be used as a flocculent in clear water drilling.
It also provides inhibition properties to fresh water, sea water and also in presence of calcium ions.
High viscosity of this drilling fluid helps in better removal of cuttings from bore hole.
It is resistant to bacterial fermentation.

WELLDONE produce Anionic Polyacrylamide, Nonionic Polyacrylamide, and Cationic Polyacrylamide in Granule, Powder, and Emulsion.Anionic Polyacrylamide are co-polymers of acrylamide with increasing proportions of acrylate groups, which give the polymers negative charges, and thus anionic active character, in aqueous solution. Nonionic Polyacrylamide are
technically pure polyacrylamides with neutral nonionic properties in the aqueous solution. Cationic Polyacrylamide are co-polymers of acrylamide with increasing proportions of cationic monomers. The cationic groups, which are thus introduced into the polymer,have positive charges in aqueous solution.

Polymer flooding is the injection of long-chain polymer molecules dissolved in water to increase the viscosity of injected water.This method improves the oil-water mobility ratio,vertical and areal sweep efficiency.The polymer causes a reduction in the permeability and propagation through high-permeability zones in the reservoir ensuring water diversion to lower permeability zones.This lowers flow velocity and increases the sweep area to increase oil recovery.

Sewage Treatment:
City sewage treatment, food processing, metallurgy, dyeing industry, mineral processing industry, sugar industry and various kinds of industrial wastewater treatment.
Paper Industry:
Paper industry can be use for paper dry strength agent, retention agent, filter aid,improving paper quality and paper production capacity.
WELLDONE polymer are widely used in paper making industry,especially in paper wastewater treatment and retention aid.Our polymer can be used in various of paper manufacturing.
It is very important to use polymer as retention aid on paper machine,it can highly improve the retention of fibers and fillers so as to save dosage of water by a designed passing volume.
In order to select a most suitable polymer as retention aid,we should make sure the purpose of using polymer,normally they are used to improve the ability of drainage and/or retention,also we should take the type of fibers and fillers into consideration.High molecular weight polymer has better performance in retention,and low molecular weight polymer is good at drainage.
Mineral Processing:
PAM can be used as a sedimentation agent for mine tailings ponds.In the mining process, the tailings produced need to be precipitated and separated from solids and liquids through the tailings pond.PAM can form a bridging effect between organic colloidal particles and water-soluble substances, promoting the precipitation of particles in tailings, thereby improving the precipitation efficiency and solid-liquid separation effect.
Secondly, PAM can be used as a slurry stabilizer. After PAM is added to the slurry, it can prevent the sedimentation and bonding of particles, thereby maintaining the stability and fluidity of the slurry, and improving the ore extraction efficiency and product recovery rate.PAM can also be used as a mine wastewater treatment agent.
